On Sunday, March 30, former Homestead High School standout Ava Mejia’s current college team, the Sioux Falls Cougars, won 13-7 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Bemidji State Beavers.

The game took place at Sanford Diamonds. This was their first matchup against the Beavers this season.

The Cougars’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, March 30 at 2 p.m. at Sanford Diamonds against Bemidji State Beavers.
