On Saturday, March 22, former Homestead High School standout Ayanna Patterson’s current collegiate team the UConn Huskies won 103-34 against the Arkansas State Red Wolves in the NCAA Division I Basketball Championship Tournament.

Hosted in Harry A. Gampel Pavilion, this was the first game against the Arkansas State Red Wolves during the championship.

The UConn Huskies’ next game will take place on Monday, March 24 at 7 p.m. in Harry A. Gampel Pavilion against South Dakota State Jackrabbits.

Ayanna Patterson’s hometown is Fort Wayne and game position is forward.
