Fort Wayne Community Schools (FWCS) has formed a partnership with the YMCA of Greater Fort Wayne and Champions of Greater Fort Wayne. This collaboration aims to offer comprehensive before and after school childcare services for elementary students from pre-K through fifth grade.

The FWCS Career Academy is preparing to honor the achievements of its Career and Technical Education (CTE) students during its eighth annual Signing Day ceremony. In addition, students at five FWCS elementary schools and all middle schools will participate in bike-to-school activities over the next two weeks.

On April 28, the Fort Wayne Community Schools Board of School Trustees approved several new administrative appointments. Additionally, FWCS’ 11 middle schools and the Fort Wayne Virtual Academy are set to host 6th Grade Orientation and Open House events.
