Fort Wayne Community Schools (FWCS) is organizing its annual Passport to Pre-K registration event aimed at preparing young learners for school. As part of the initiative, FWCS plans special reveal celebrations at each of its five high schools, as well as the Fort Wayne Virtual Academy, introducing students to the Schools of Success program.

In addition to academic preparations, FWCS is promoting entrepreneurship among students. “Student entrepreneurs at Fort Wayne Community Schools are showcasing their business ideas at upcoming events,” indicates the diverse opportunities the district is providing its students outside traditional classroom activities.

The level of student engagement and achievement is also reflected in extracurricular successes. A team of South Side freshmen has advanced to the final four in the national Arby’s Case Challenge Competition, showcasing their analytical and problem-solving skills at a prestigious level.

Furthermore, the Adult and Continuing Education Department will be honoring the achievements of over 240 graduates who attained their diplomas in 2024, highlighting the success and dedication of learners pursuing education beyond traditional schooling years.
