Educators, technology leaders, and learning innovators are set to gather for the annual FWCS ignitED classroom technology conference. The event will take place from 7:45 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday, July 15, at Northrop High School located at 7001 Coldwater Road.

Fort Wayne Community Schools (FWCS) will hold commencement ceremonies on Friday, May 30, and Saturday, May 31, celebrating the graduation of 1,860 students from the Class of 2025.

Additionally, the FWCS Career Academy is preparing for its eighth annual Signing Day ceremony to honor the achievements of Career and Technical Education (CTE) students.

In a new development, Fort Wayne Community Schools has partnered with the YMCA of Greater Fort Wayne and Champions of Greater Fort Wayne. This collaboration aims to provide comprehensive before and after school childcare services for elementary students in pre-K through fifth grade.

Furthermore, students at five FWCS elementary schools and all middle schools will participate in activities over the next two weeks to celebrate riding bikes to school.
