Homestead High School standout Ava Mejia’s college team lost in NCAA Division II softball game on Wednesday, March 26

On Wednesday, March 26, former Homestead High School standout Ava Mejia’s current college team, the Sioux Falls Cougars, lost 13-0 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Minnesota State Mavericks.

The game took place at Sanford Diamonds. This was their second matchup against the Mavericks this season.

The Cougars’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 29 at 1 p.m. at Sanford Diamonds against Minnesota Crookston Golden Eagles.
