Homestead High School standout Nick Hockemeyer’s college team lost in NCAA Division I baseball game on Tuesday, April 1

On Tuesday, April 1, former Homestead High School standout Nick Hockemeyer’s current college team, the Purdue Fort Wayne Mastodons, lost 16-3 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Central Michigan Chippewas.

The game took place at Mastodon Field. This was their first matchup against the Chippewas this season.

The Mastodons’ next game is scheduled for Friday, April 4 at 3 p.m. at Mastodon Field against Milwaukee Panthers.
