Jim Banks, a U.S. Congressman representing Indiana’s 3rd district since 2017, has shared several updates on social media regarding housing and national pride. Born in Columbia City, Indiana, Banks graduated from Indiana University Bloomington in 2004 and previously served in the Indiana Senate from 2010 to 2016.

On March 18, 2025, Jim Banks expressed support for affordable housing initiatives by stating “Buying an affordable home is a key part of the American Dream.” He noted that President Trump appointed Bill Pulte to lead the Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA) to make this dream achievable for working Americans.

Later that day, he shared another message welcoming someone home with enthusiasm: “Incredible! Welcome home “

On March 20, 2025, Banks acknowledged Bill Pulte’s efforts again by simply stating “Good work @pulte” indicating his continued approval of Pulte’s performance at FHFA.
