Senator Jim Banks, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Indiana’s 3rd district, has been actively sharing his thoughts and activities on social media. Born in Columbia City, Indiana, Banks has been a member of Congress since 2017 after replacing Marlin Stutzman. He also served in the Indiana Senate from 2010 to 2016.

On June 4, 2025, Senator Banks expressed surprise with a succinct post stating “This is crazy.”

The following day, June 5, he shared insights from a conversation about economic policies under President Trump. He tweeted: “Good to talk with @MarkHalperin about President Trump’s tariffs delivering great results for Indiana.”

Later that day, Banks highlighted Indiana’s significant role in the recreational vehicle industry. He noted: “Great to visit with the RV Industry Association yesterday. Indiana produces almost 90% of all RVs in the U.S.!”

Jim Banks graduated from Indiana University Bloomington in 2004 with a Bachelor of Arts degree and currently resides in Columbia City.
