Today, Congressman Marlin Stutzman from Indiana’s 3rd District voted in favor of H.R. 4, known as the Rescissions Act of 2025. This legislation aims to reduce government spending on certain programs and is seen as a step towards putting more money back into the pockets of American families and workers.

Rep. Stutzman expressed his support for the measure with a statement: “This rescissions package is the first of many that will serve to reduce government spending and save money for taxpayers across the country.” He further added, “While this rescissions package is a good start, there is more waste, fraud, and abuse that must be addressed and removed in future packages. I encourage the administration to continue rescinding appropriated funds so the American people are not forced to pay for the policy faux pas of the Radical Left.”

The Rescissions Act targets what Rep. Stutzman describes as unnecessary programs overseas that contribute to advancing agendas he opposes.
