Banks, who graduated from Indiana University Bloomington in 2004 and currently resides in Columbia City, Indiana, continues to focus on educational and policy development activities.
On April 30, 2025, Banks tweeted about his visit with Pam Whitten, president of his alma mater, Indiana University Bloomington. He expressed his pride in the university’s efforts, stating, “Proud of the work IU is doing to shape the next generation of leaders.”
Later on the same day, Banks tweeted his appreciation to the Vandenberg Coalition for hosting him in a discussion about conservative foreign policy, saying, “Thank you to the @VandenbergCo for having me today…”
