Jogathon May 6, 2022

7

Blackhawk Christian School recently issued the following announcement.

On Friday, May 6, 2022 our BCS students, grades PK-6 will be running in our annual Jogathon event! We are running to impact the world for Christ through education. Every step, every lap and every dollar helps support the mission of our school by "Preparing Hearts and Minds to Serve Christ."

Donations will continue to be accepted either by lap or with a one time payment (flat donation), however all donations will be billed via credit/debit card. All pledges are tax deductible. For those donors that give per lap, they will be charged at the end of the event, after your student has completed their laps.

As has been in past years, our students will be running their laps near the entrance to the BCS Primary School. We encourage you to attend the festivities and cheer on the runners. Our “track” will be well marked on the parking lot and for our  Intermediate student 8 laps = 1 mile.  Our Preschool Academy students will run on a shorter track where 16 laps = 1 mile.

Every dollar we earn during this event goes toward assisting with the cost of BCS tuition. As you can see by the diagram, tuition only covers a portion of what it actually costs to educate each child here at Blackhawk Christian School. We are grateful for the opportunity to partner with families in this way because we cannot do what we do without you. We are so thankful for your continued partnership with our school and especially in this long-awaited event. It is a day our students look forward to, and we hope it is the same for you.

Choose your student or just give to BCS.
