Today, Congressman Jim Baird from Indiana's Fourth Congressional District commented on the new international flight service announced by Indianapolis International Airport. The airport will introduce a nonstop route to Dublin, Ireland, operating four times weekly starting May 3, 2025.

In his statement, Rep. Baird highlighted the significance of this development: "Ireland has been a friend and strong economic partner with the United States and the State of Indiana," he stated. He emphasized that this new transatlantic route will bolster ties with Ireland and act as a gateway to Europe, offering increased opportunities for Indiana businesses and travelers. "This route is a huge win that will drive greater economic investment in our state and Indiana’s Fourth Congressional District," added Rep. Baird.
