He alleged partisan interference at West Point against Hegseth’s nomination and demanded accountability for what he termed a political attack: "Pete Hegseth will shake up the DOD and eliminate wokeness from our military academies which is why bureaucrats at West Point seem to be trying to sabotage his nomination. I’m demanding accountability for this partisan political attack."
