Jim Banks, a U.S. Congressman representing Indiana's 3rd district since 2017, recently shared his thoughts on various issues through a series of tweets. The tweets reflect his political stance and legislative priorities.

On February 12, 2025, Banks tweeted about the Respect Parents’ Childcare Choices Act. He emphasized the importance of family autonomy in childcare decisions, stating that "Big government never works. The Respect Parents’ Childcare Choices Act puts families FIRST and empowers them with the freedom to make their own child care decisions."

Later that day, he expressed criticism towards the National Institutes of Health (NIH), describing it as a "dangerous & deceitful propaganda machine run by ideologues." He endorsed Dr. Jay Bhattacharya for restoring the institution's focus on truthful medical research, urging action with "@DrJBhattacharya will restore the NIH to its intended purpose: medical research backed by truth. Let’s get it done."

Additionally, Banks shared his experience at a community event called Hoosier Huddle held in the Capitol. On February 12, 2025, he posted about meeting constituents from his home state, expressing gratitude for serving them: "Enjoyed visiting with so many of you from home this morning at this week’s Hoosier Huddle in the Capitol to start my day. It is an honor to serve you! "
