Jim Banks, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Indiana’s 3rd district since 2017, has been active on social media expressing his views on various issues. Banks, who succeeded Marlin Stutzman and previously served in the Indiana Senate from 2010 to 2016, often shares his opinions and legislative priorities online.

On March 12, 2025, Jim Banks tweeted about the need for better judges. He expressed disappointment regarding a judge from Indiana confirmed by Republican senators in 1998. "We need better judges. Sad that this judge is from Indiana. Confirmed by Republican senators in 1998 …"

Later that day, he mentioned Secretary Collins and President Trump’s efforts to improve services for veterans through the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). Banks conveyed his support for their initiatives and expressed enthusiasm for contributing through the Senate Veterans Affairs Committee. "Secretary Collins and President Trump will make sure the VA serves our veterans better than ever before. I look forward to doing what I can to help them on the Senate Veterans Affairs Committee! "

In another tweet posted on March 12, Banks highlighted Indiana's school choice program as one of the best in the country. He emphasized empowering parents and teachers while minimizing government involvement in education. Additionally, he supported President Trump's actions to reduce federal oversight in education matters."In Indiana, we have one of the best school choice programs in the country: We empower parents, we let teachers teach, & we get the government out of the way. President Trump is abolishing the overreach of the federal government in education & I'm with him."
