On Monday, March 24, former Homestead High School standout Ayanna Patterson’s current collegiate team the UConn Huskies won 91-57 against the South Dakota State Jackrabbits in the NCAA Division I Basketball Championship Tournament.

Hosted in Harry A. Gampel Pavilion, this was the first game against the South Dakota State Jackrabbits during the championship.

Ayanna Patterson’s hometown is Fort Wayne and game position is forward.
