Rep. Marlin Stutzman, a former member of Congress who returned to the political scene after his last service in 2017, has been active on social media discussing key issues and sharing insights into his legislative efforts and observations on the current political landscape.

On June 6, 2025, Rep. Stutzman addressed the issue of national debt by highlighting unbudgeted and unappropriated emergency spending as a significant contributor. He announced his initiative through the "NEW Emergency Spending Accountability Act", which aims to ensure that new emergency charges are funded without increasing debt or using more taxpayer dollars.

Later that day, Rep. Stutzman expressed gratitude towards The Epoch Times and journalist Jackson Richman for their article detailing his return to Congress. He acknowledged their work with a "S/O" on Twitter.

In another tweet posted simultaneously, Rep. Stutzman commented on the changes he perceives in Congress since his departure in January 2017. According to him, “Congress looks different now”, noting that Democrats have shifted further left while Republicans focus more on reducing national debt and budget deficits. He also mentioned the GOP's current control over governmental branches.

The tweets reflect Rep. Stutzman's ongoing engagement with fiscal policy and political dynamics within Congress following his return.
