Rep. Marlin Stutzman, a U.S. Congressman from Indiana, recently addressed themes of spiritual health and national remembrance in a series of posts on his official X account.

On September 19, 2025, Stutzman wrote, "Change in the spiritual health of our nation begins in the home." Later that day, he marked POW/MIA Recognition Day with a message honoring military personnel: "On POW/MIA Recognition Day, we honor the courage of our service members who were captured or went missing in action. You are not forgotten. "

The following day, September 20, Stutzman commented on recent events involving conservative activist Charlie Kirk by stating, "Charlie Kirk's death is creating a spiritual revival across our country."

POW/MIA Recognition Day is observed annually to honor prisoners of war and those missing in action from all U.S. conflicts. The day serves as a reminder of the sacrifices made by military personnel and their families.

Stutzman's remarks reflect ongoing conversations about faith and national identity within American political discourse.
