The City of Fort Wayne is set to host the Renaissance Car Show on Friday, June 14th, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. The event aims to celebrate Flag Day and provide an early Father’s Day outing. Attendees are encouraged to dress in patriotic attire for a chance to win a prize for the most patriotically dressed individual.
The free event will take place at the Renaissance Pointe YMCA, located at 2323 Bowser Ave., and is open to the public. Participants wishing to display their vehicles can register for a $10 fee, with dash plaques awarded to the first 100 entries. Motorcycles, trucks, and hot rods are also welcome. Registration begins at 3:30 p.m., and there will be a prize for the most patriotically decorated car.
Attendees can enjoy complimentary food while supplies last and listen to music as they view the cars. Awards will be presented at 7:45 p.m.
Cosmos Restaurant has provided gift cards for the two patriotic winners, and Steel Dynamics is serving as the Presenting Sponsor. All proceeds from the event will benefit the Renaissance Pointe YMCA youth services program.
