Due to the Ardmore Avenue Turn Lane Project, the intersection of Ardmore Avenue and Sand Point Road will be closed beginning July 15 for approximately five weeks.
The west detour route will utilize Engle Road, Smith Road, Lower Huntington Road, and Ardmore Avenue. The east detour route will utilize Engle Road, Bluffton Road, Lower Huntington Road, and Ardmore Avenue.
The Ardmore Avenue Turn Lane Project will include widening Ardmore Avenue by 12 feet to add a southbound left turn lane at Sand Point Road. The project will also include new curbs, drive approaches, and pavement striping, along with minor stormwater improvements through linear ditch grading, drive culverts, and curb turnouts. The project is expected to be completed in the fall of 2024.
