Jim Banks, a U.S. Congressman representing Indiana's 3rd district since 2017, has recently shared his views on several national issues through social media. Born in Columbia City, Indiana, and a graduate of Indiana University Bloomington, Banks has been an active political figure with previous experience in the Indiana Senate.

On January 21, 2025, Jim Banks expressed his support for architectural aesthetics in federal buildings. He tweeted "Make Federal Buildings Beautiful Again! ".

Later that day, Banks advocated for the confirmation of Elise Stefanik to a position at the United Nations. At 16:24 UTC, he posted "The Senate must confirm @EliseStefanik ASAP to deliver on President Trump’s America First agenda at the UN!".

In another tweet posted at 21:42 UTC on the same day, Banks defended Lt. Col. Tulsi Gabbard against what he described as a smear campaign. He stated "As a veteran myself, it’s insulting to see this smear campaign against Lt. Col. Gabbard. She has served our country in uniform for over two decades. Attacking her character and patriotism is shameful."
