Jim Banks, a U.S. Congressman representing Indiana's 3rd district since 2017, has recently shared several updates on social media. His tweets cover a range of topics from technological advancements to political stances.

On January 23, 2025, Jim Banks expressed his enthusiasm about a conversation with President Robert Dowd regarding Notre Dame's new Mach 10 Quiet Wind Tunnel and their significant College Football Playoff run. He conveyed his support with the statement: "Enjoyed talking to President Robert Dowd today about Notre Dame’s brand new Mach 10 Quiet Wind Tunnel and their historic CFP run. Go Irish!"

The following day, January 24, Banks acknowledged the participation of over 100,000 individuals in Washington D.C. for a march advocating for life. He highlighted his commitment to this cause by stating: "Thank you to the 100,000+ people in DC today marching for life. I am proud to have an A+ rating from @sbaprolife and will always fight to defend the unborn."

Later that day, Banks criticized President Joe Biden's actions regarding immigration laws and announced his legislative efforts to prevent similar actions in the future. He stated: "Joe Biden exploited current laws to unilaterally give legal status to millions of noncitizens from countries like Haiti and Venezuela. My legislation won’t let that ever happen again."
