Jim Banks was born in Columbia City, Indiana in 1979 and continues to reside there. A graduate of Indiana University Bloomington in 2004 with a BA degree, he succeeded Marlin Stutzman in Congress after previously serving in the Indiana Senate from 2010 to 2016.
