Fort Wayne Community Schools is set to host its annual in-school registration event on Thursday, July 24. The registration will take place from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. at all elementary, middle, and high schools.
The Fort Wayne Virtual Academy (FWVA), an innovative virtual learning program by Fort Wayne Community Schools, is expanding its services. It will now cater to students in grades 6-12 across Indiana.
In another development, educators, technology leaders, and learning innovators are scheduled to attend the annual FWCS ignitED classroom technology conference. This event will be held on Tuesday, July 15, from 7:45 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Northrop High School located at 7001 Coldwater Road.
Fort Wayne Community Schools has also announced that it will celebrate commencement for the Class of 2025 on Friday, May 30, and Saturday, May 31. A total of 1,860 students are expected to graduate this year.
Additionally, the FWCS Career Academy is preparing for its eighth annual Signing Day ceremony to honor the achievements of Career and Technical Education (CTE) students.
