Rep. Marlin Stutzman, a member of the U.S. House of Representatives from Indiana, expressed strong support for former President Donald Trump’s diplomatic and negotiation skills in a series of posts on July 29, 2025.

During an appearance on the “Just the News, No Noise” TV show, Stutzman stated, “I've said it many times that President Trump is the strongest diplomat,” Stutzman said on the “Just the News, No Noise” TV show. “He's the strongest negotiator our country's had since President Reagan.” (July 29, 2025).

In another post on the same day, he referenced a recent trade agreement: President Trump's major trade deal with Europe is proof that he’s our nation’s strongest negotiator since Reagan.

Stutzman further commented on Trump’s approach to international negotiations: “President Trump knows how to go into these countries and flex the muscle that the American economy has and pull these deals together now,” he said. “This is going to give us some great access to the European markets.” (July 29, 2025).

Rep. Marlin Stutzman has previously served multiple terms in Congress representing Indiana's 3rd congressional district. His comments come in response to a newly announced trade agreement between the United States and Europe under former President Trump’s leadership. The agreement has drawn attention due to its potential impact on U.S.-European economic relations and increased market access for American businesses.
