Rep. Marlin Stutzman, a U.S. Congressman from Indiana's 3rd district, recently posted a series of messages on his official X (formerly Twitter) account addressing topics ranging from religious encouragement to national political issues.

On August 31, 2025, Stutzman shared a Bible verse with his followers: “And the Lord, He is the One who goes before you. He will be with you, He will not leave you nor forsake you; do not fear nor be dismayed.” - Deuteronomy 31:8.

The following day, September 1, 2025, he extended holiday greetings in recognition of Labor Day. In his post he wrote: "Wishing everyone a Happy Labor Day! Today, we recognize and celebrate the dedication and contributions of hardworking Americans across the country. Hope everyone has a safe, well-deserved day of rest with loved ones."

On September 2, 2025, Stutzman commented on public safety concerns in Chicago by calling for federal intervention. He stated: "Trump should send the National Guard to Chicago TONIGHT! The leadership of the city and state have FAILED to keep their people safe."

Stutzman's remarks about Chicago come amid ongoing debates over crime rates and public safety in major U.S. cities. Calls for deploying the National Guard have been made periodically during periods of heightened violence or unrest in urban areas.

As an elected representative from Indiana’s 3rd congressional district, Stutzman frequently uses social media platforms to communicate his positions on current events and policy matters.
