In a post on September 16, Stutzman criticized President Biden's job creation statements and Federal Reserve policy: "REMINDER: Biden lied about adding almost 1 million jobs in the last year of his Presidency. Interest rates should have been lowered LONG AGO https://t.co/VkRmcCdTRU".
Later that day, he highlighted issues of representation for Indiana residents: "Hoosiers deserve a level playing field in Washington, D.C. Eager for Indiana to push ahead with redrawing its congressional maps. Thank you to @JustTheNews and @CharlotteHazar5! https://t.co/ffespFAOHd".
In another statement posted moments after, Stutzman elaborated on census and representation concerns during an interview: “Indiana is such a Republican state,” Stutzman said in a phone interview with Just the News. “The problem I see is because Indiana isn’t a sanctuary state, there is an imbalance of non-citizens in states like New York counted in the census, and it can give them as many as 10".
Redistricting has been an ongoing topic across several states following each decennial census.
