Cost of college went up for all students at the University of Saint Francis-Fort Wayne

Tuition and fees rose 3.4 percent for 2018-19 at the University of Saint Francis-Fort Wayne, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Indiana students paid $30,430 to attend the four-year private not-for-profit institution this year – $1,000 more than the $29,430 charged for 2017-18.

Data shows 100 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 450 students received grants or scholarships totaling $9.6 million and 324 students took out student loans totaling more than $2.2 million.

Including all undergraduates (2,199), 1,686 students used grants or scholarships totaling $29.2 million, and 1,344 students took out $9.1 million in federal student loans.
