Students showcase creativity at Weisser Park Thanksgiving parade

Weisser Park is once again the venue for a Thanksgiving parade, themed "Balloons above Broadway." This event highlights the creative efforts of students in STEAM innovation.

FWCS Career Academy Culinary Arts students are continuing their tradition of providing free holiday meals to the community. The initiative underscores their commitment to community service during the festive season.

Additionally, Fort Wayne Community Schools is marking a milestone with the successful launch of Schools of Success. This achievement represents a significant step forward in educational excellence and student development.

In honor of Veterans Day, Fort Wayne Community Schools will conduct various activities and events throughout the district. Students will engage in honoring veterans within their families, perform patriotic music, and explore careers in the military.

Shambaugh Elementary extends an invitation to the public for an evening Open House on Friday, October 25th, from 6-7:30 p.m. Attendees will have a chance to view the contents of a time capsule and reflect on life as it was in 1994.
