Fort Wayne Community Schools (FWCS) is organizing multiple events to support and prepare students at different education levels. Among these events is the 6th Grade Orientation, taking place across the district's 11 middle schools and the Fort Wayne Virtual Academy.

In addition to the orientation activities for incoming middle school students, FWCS is focusing on early childhood education through the annual Passport to Pre-K registration event. This initiative aims to help young learners transition smoothly into school life.

FWCS is also set to unveil its Schools of Success program with special reveal celebrations at all five high schools and the Fort Wayne Virtual Academy. This program introduces high school students to opportunities and resources aimed at enhancing their educational journey.

Further, FWCS encourages entrepreneurial spirit among its students, with young entrepreneurs preparing to present their business ideas at forthcoming events. Supporting creativity and business acumen, these showcases aim to offer real-world experience and learning opportunities.

Moreover, a team of freshmen from South Side has reached the final four in the Arby’s National Case Challenge Competition, highlighting the district's commitment to both academic and extracurricular excellence.

The series of planned events underscores the Fort Wayne Community Schools' dedication to fostering a supportive and enriching environment for all its students, encompassing various stages of their educational paths.
