After a nearly two-year renovation that doubled the size of Levan Scott Academy, the doors are opening to the public to tour the new education space. The community open house is scheduled from 4-7 p.m. on Wednesday, June 12, at Levan Scott Academy.
Fort Wayne Community Schools is again sponsoring SUN Meals or the Summer Food Service Program (SFSP), providing free meals to all children ages 18 and younger. Additionally, Fort Wayne Community Schools will celebrate commencement for nearly 1,900 members of the Class of 2024.
The Fort Wayne Community Schools Board of School Trustees is seeking applicants to fill the open District 4 seat following the resignation of Rohli Booker. Furthermore, Franke Park Elementary School fourth-grade teacher Ricky Weber has been named the 2024 FWCS Elementary Teacher of the Year.
