FWCS Career Academy Culinary Arts students are once again providing free holiday meals to the community. This initiative aims to support those in need during the Thanksgiving season.

"Ready, Set, Launch! Fort Wayne Community Schools is celebrating the successful launch of Schools of Success," stated a representative from the school district. The program is designed to enhance educational opportunities and student success.

Fort Wayne Community Schools will also honor Veterans Day with various activities and events across the district. Students will pay tribute to veterans in their families, perform patriotic music, and explore careers in the military.

Shambaugh Elementary has invited the public to an evening Open House on Friday, Oct. 25, from 6-7:30 p.m. During this event, community members can view a time capsule's contents and reflect on life in 1994.

In another initiative, Fort Wayne Community Schools welcomes over 50 community members as guest principals for its annual Principal for a Day event on Oct. 16.
