Ft Wayne Times

About 18.6 percent of the 1,805 degrees and certificates handed out by Indiana University-Purdue University-Fort Wayne in 2017-18 were to students in business, management, marketing, and related support services programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the public institution in Wayne conferred 222 bachelor's degrees and 65 master's degrees in business, management, marketing, and related support services programs.

But the single most popular program was for a bachelor's degree in general studies, liberal arts and sciences, and other humanities. Data shows the school gave out 153 bachelor's degrees in general studies, liberal arts and sciences, and other humanities, followed by 152 bachelor's degrees in registered nursing/registered nurse and 137 bachelor's degrees in general business/commerce.

The university enrolled 10,139 students for 2017-18, including 9,664 in undergraduate programs and 475 in graduate programs.
