Fort Wayne Community Schools is offering students entering kindergarten, sixth, and ninth grades a preview of their upcoming school year to reduce first-day anxieties.
Teams led by community volunteers will clean, paint, and enhance the landscaping at eight Fort Wayne Community Schools buildings from 8 a.m. to noon on Wednesday, July 17. This effort is part of a special Day of Caring sponsored by United Way of Allen County.
The annual ignitED conference for educators will take place on Wednesday, July 17, from 7:45 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Northrop High School, located at 7001 Coldwater Road. The event focuses on technology and innovation in education.
The Fort Wayne Community Schools Board of School Trustees welcomed Antonette “Toni” Payne during a swearing-in ceremony held on Monday, June 24.
After nearly two years of renovations that doubled the size of Levan Scott Academy, the public is invited to tour the new educational space during an open house scheduled for Wednesday, June 12, from 4-7 p.m.
